- Mechanical displacement of quantum coherent structures
- Quantum state manipulation using coherent circuits
Past achievements
- Gauge-covariant quasi-classic transport formalism for the superconducting state in the presence of spin interaction (including spin-orbit and exchange interactions). See this arXiv paper. The generic theory has been developed during the winter 2013-2014, and several applications of the gauge-covariant-transport formalism can be found in the remaining of my works.
- Electric manipulation of the magnetization of a Josephson 2D bridge, when Zeeman and spin-orbit effects conspire to create a coherent magneto-electric coupling. See the demonstration of the existence of the magneto-electric effect and the quasi-classic theory of the magneto-electric manipulation. In collaboration with A.I. Buzdin (2009), I.V. Tokalty and F.S. Bergeret (2015).
- Generalisation of the Josephson relations when the superconducting condensate is mechanically displaced. See the theoretical prediction or the experimental verification of the predicted self-sustained oscillations. Theory in collaboration with Ya.M. Blanter (2011). Experiments performed by S. Etaki, H. Yamaguchi and H. van der Zant (2010-2013).
- Decoherence mechanism of the topological wires hosting some Majorana modes, with peculiar emphasis on the propagation of a quantum error along the topological circuit. For a clean p-wave superconductor, the qubit-flip error propagates at the Fermi velocity, somehow a problem for the topological protection. See this arXiv paper. In collaboration with F. Hassler (2013).
- Fluctuations description of the inhomogeneous superconducting state, giving smoking gun experiments possibilities (radically different exponents of the Gaussian fluctuations than for the homogeneous case). See the letter and the long arXiv versions of the work. In collaboration with J. Cayssol and A.I. Buzdin (2006-2009).
